About Us

Hope Lutheran Church is a new mission church in Henry County, Georgia, started by the national church body, the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod), the third largest Lutheran church body in America. We are excited to be in Henry County and to serve all people with the eternal gospel of Jesus. Our main focus as we worship, as we reach out, as we fellowship, is Jesus. He is central to our mission and ministry. We believe, confess, and preach that Jesus lived a perfect life, died, and rose again to this world's only Savior.  By his perfect life and innocent death, Jesus earned forgiveness of sins for the whole world. We believe, confess, and preach what the bible teaches - that all who believe in Jesus as their Savior have the forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and a certain future in heaven with Jesus.
